I have decided to take my site down temporarily, as it has been enjoying some unwelcome attention lately. Keeping the site up, in the end, only gave entertainment content to the fans of a certain satirical website that had chosen mine as the site of the week to ridicule. Sorry fans of that site - all you get is an empty hole, and your guestbook messages will all go in the trash.

Why the upset - its all just a joke right? Unfortunately it isn't to some of the guestbook entries that the satire site solicited for me. A great number were not just "you suck" messages, they were death threats, and some were very close to the bone. By what measure is that warranted? For what cause do I have to put up with that? For satire's sake? I don't think so.
